Carlos Buhler to teach at the Cody Ice Fest 2017

Lowa Athlete Carlos Buhler is one of America's leading high altitude mountaineers. His ascents include Everest, K2 and Naga Parbat. The Cody Ice Festival is thrilled to announce that Carlos will be representing Lowa at the 2017 Festival as a clinic instructor.

Carlos Buhler's climbing career spans forty-five years with climbs on five continents. He draws from experience gained on expeditions to Alaska, Canada, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Bolivia, Argentina, Uganda, Kenya, India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Russia and Tibet. In 1983, he climbed to the summit of Mt. Everest with the American team that made the first ascent of the Kangshung (East) Face from Tibet. It was Everest's last unclimbed face and its ascent established the mountain's most technically demanding route. Their climb has never been repeated.

Carlos will be teaching both advanced and beginner clinics at the Cody Ice Fest.  Don't forget clinics go on sale November 1st!
